Islamabad United vs Karachi kings 10th T20 Prediction – PSL 2017

Karachi Kings Vs Islamabad United (KK vs IU ) Prediction is placed here. Islamabad United will be up against the Karachi Kings in the 10th game of the Pakistan Super League 2017. The match will be the second game of the day on February 17 nd will be played in Sharjah. This game will kick start at 8 pm local time (4 pm GMT or 9 pm Pakistan time).

Despite a power-packed batting line-up – with the likes of Chris gayle, Babar azam, Kumar sangakkara, Shoaib malik, Ravi bopara and Kieron pollard – they still find themselves at the lowest of the table with three losses – towards zalmi, gladiators and qalandars.

Each the bowling and batting haven’t clicked in unison thus far within the first 2 games of the tournament, leaving a variety of questions to be responded. The batsmen did make amends inside the 2nd game by posting 159, but the bowlers did not guard the goal with Eoin morgan scoring eighty.

Karachi Kings look favorites to win this game

It’s an interesting match-up for both sides, and lest I say, it’s a crucial one too. On the one hand, a victory for Islamabad United will put them to the top of the table with three victories from four games – it will be a position they will share with either Peshawar Zalmi or Quetta Gladiators, teams that meet earlier in the day. Both Peshawar and Quetta also have two wins from three games and one of them looks set to register a third victory.

On the other hand, Karachi Kings have gotten off to a kind of start they would have feared following a poor previous season. They had finished fourth in the points table last year, narrowly edging out the Lahore Qalandars and it looks like they might have to come back strongly after the kind of start they have got.

They take on Islamabad United who are battling on several fronts. Having been jolted by fixing allegations, the team will find it hard to focus on their cricket but will need to find a way to perform. They defeated Zalmi in the first game but lost to Lahore Qalandars in the second clash. Sam Billings starred in their win in the game against Gladiators and the onus will again be on him to produce the goods and help the team keep the winning momentum with them.

A wounded United is Kings’ best bet to storm their way back in the tournament but they’ll need an all-round effort to upstage their opponents.

They have played three games and lost all of them, including one against the Lahore Qalandars on Thursday. And that game saw them get closest to a win, on what turned out to be a very high-scoring Sharjah pitch.

Batting first, the Qalandars amassed a score of 179 from their 20 overs but at one stage it did look they would even get to 200. Usama Mir struck in the middle of the innings and Mohammad Amir grabbed a couple of wickets towards the end to tighten the screws on the Qalandars.

When Karachi batted, they lost Babar Azam and Chris Gayle early but Kumar Sangakkara and Shoaib Malik added 101 runs for the third wicket to bring the side right back into it. Unfortunately for the Kings, once Sangakkara fell in the 15th over, the rest of the side failed to offer the kind of resistance they ought to have and kept losing wickets at regular intervals.

Karachi were restricted to 172 despite a couple of late sixes from Sohail Khan and Mohammad Amir, resulting in their third defeat.

Another loss here, and the Kings will be looking at an early exit but if they can win it, they will not only get themselves some confidence but could also be pushing the likes of Islamabad and the team losing the game between Quetta and Peshawar.
